Workshop outline This one-day workshop is designed to provide workers with an understanding of what refugees have been through, the impact of these traumatic experiences and the recovery process from trauma. This workshop does not cover specific clinical strategies as these are covered in the 2-day clinical workshop.

Target Group This workshop is open to health and allied health professionals such as doctors, psychologists, social workers, counsellors, nurses, physiotherapists, dentists. Students studying a health profession are welcome to attend. Note that this is a pre-requisite to many of the more specialised STARTTS workshops.

Times: All workshops run from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Registration is from 9:00am. Please ensure that you arrive before 9:30am as all workshops start on time.
