The Moral Cost of Torture
DR ANTHONY MARSELLA was a Professor of Psychology at the University of Hawaii. He is a consultant to numerous national and international agencies. Dr Marsella is widely known as a pioneer figure in the study of culture and psychopathology. He has challenged ethnocentrism in theories and practices in psychology and psychiatry. He has recently been involved in the creation of Psychologists for Social Responsibility, an organisation that promotes peace and social justice.
