Darius Rountree-Harrison is the EEG analyst at STARTTS. He studied psychology and neuroscience at the University of Sydney and Monash University. He is currently undertaking his QEEG diplomat certification. Darius has published on developmental working memory, worked on the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and has presented on mindfulness and trauma at multiple conferences. Darius was responsible for implementing biofeedback stress management programs for lawyers working in off shore detention centres. Since 2013, Darius has been practicing a wide array of neurofeedback and biofeedback modalities and is well regarded for his broad understanding of the field and clinical insights. Darius is currently exploring neuronal and cardiovascular biomarkers of stress responses in PTSD. His wider interests include the interplay of arousal, mindfulness, emotion processing, language and psychophysics. Darius is a member of the Applied Neuroscience Society of Australasia.
