Refugee Ball 2013

Refugee Ball is over for another year, and once again the evening surpassed all our expectations. For the first time ever we were SOLD OUT, and everyone who attended had a great time. We’re still wrapping things up but we’ll report back soon with photos, video, money raised and lots more…

Now in its fifth year, the STARTTS Refugee Ball continues to raise vital funds and awareness to support the rehabilitation of torture and trauma survivors in NSW. In 2013 all proceeds from the Ball will go towards STARTTS’ School Liaison Program, helping traumatised refugee young people and the schools who work with them.

With a reputation for showcasing high quality speakers and moving stories, Refugee Ball is set to be better than ever this year. And what’s more, electrifying performer Oscar Jimenez and his band will be back to get the crowd moving again!

And in the words of one of last year’s guests:

“…a fantastic night that ran seamlessly with excellent speakers, wonderful entertainment, great auction, delicious food and wine and great company…  it will be very hard to top next year!”

Yes it will, but we’re going to try!!
